We charge commission on the item price only.
There are no monthly fees and no additional charges for our Listing Creation service.
You’ll receive a sales receipt each week following a sale with a full breakdown of your sale, including commission and VAT (where applicable).
How commission works
Our commission is tiered, meaning different rates apply to different portions of the item price.
17% commission (up to £2,500)
You’ll pay 17% commission on the portion of the item price up to and including £2,500.
10% commission (above £2,500)
You’ll pay 10% commission on any portion of the item price over £2,500.
We use this tiered approach to make selling higher-value items more flexible and competitive.
Payment processing fee
There is a 3% payment processing fee per item.
This is calculated on the total amount paid by the buyer (item price + delivery price)
The fee is capped at £50 per item
Delivery costs do not affect commission, but are included in the payment processing fee.
If you use our delivery partner (Proovia), delivery costs are excluded from your payout as we settle this for you.

Commission fees are the same for all sellers. VAT treatment depends on your location.
UK sellers (incl. VAT)
VAT (20%) is applied on commission and payment processing fees where applicable. If you are VAT registered, this should be reclaimable from HMRC.
Example 1: Item sold for £100 + £50 delivery
Commission on item price: £17 (£100 x 17%)
Payment processing fee on item and delivery costs (3% of £150): £4.50
VAT (20% on commission and fee): £4.30
Total: £25.80
You receive: £124.20
Example 2: Item sold for £6,000
Commission on item price: £775 (£2,500 x 17% + £3,500 x 10%)
Payment processing fee on item and delivery costs: £50 (capped)
VAT (20% on commission and fee): £165
Total: £990
You receive: £5,010
EU sellers (excl. VAT)
VAT is not charged by Vinterior on commission and fees for EU VAT registered sellers.
Example 1: Item sold for £100 + £50 delivery
Commission on item price: £17
Payment processing fee on item and delivery costs (3% of £150): £4.50
Total: £21.50
You receive: £128.50
Example 2: Item sold for £6,000
Commission on item price: £775 (£2,500 x 17% + £3,500 x 10%)
Payment processing fee on item and delivery costs : £50 (capped)

You receive: £5,175
Vinterior Tip
We deduct commission, payment processing fees, and VAT (where applicable) from your order before payout.
You can see the estimated commission and processing fee for each of your listings in your dashboard. We will also show the estimated commission and processing fee at order confirmation.
