This article explains how you can increase your prices on Vinterior when you are shipping items using the incoterm DDP (delivery duties paid). Shipping items using the incoterm DDP means you would transfer the import VAT fee to the shipper on the buyer’s behalf. This means that your prices have to include import VAT. For more information regarding DDP shipping, please read this article.
Below you will find different scenarios you will encounter when exporting items to the UK.

My item is an antique
Typically, art, antiques and collectable items are taxed at the lower rate of UK import VAT of 5%. To benefit from the lower rate of VAT, the item must fall within the list of pieces here and you must present all the required evidence and documents at customs. If you are unsure if you can prove that your item is an antique, we advise you to keep a 20% VAT rate on your items.
