Sellers may be aware that Vinterior has operated a two-track payment system for some time. However, we are aiming to better communicate the system and why it is used and to apply it in a more consistent and transparent manner.
Fast Track Payments
Vinterior will make payouts to sellers (via the Stripe platform) twice per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. For each order, three working days after dispatch has been confirmed, the seller payment will be made on the next payout day per this schedule. This means sellers will be paid up to 3-7 days after marking an item as dispatched.
The day you dispatch your item will determine when you receive your payment. For example:
- If you dispatch your item on a Monday, you will be paid on the next payment day following 3 working days, which would be Friday (4 days later).
Managed Payments
Most sellers will be paid according to fast track payments, as outlined above. However, for sellers new to Vinterior or where there is a higher risk of payout adjustments post dispatch, a managed payments track will be applied to reduce payment risk and risk of subsequent adjustments. This will include but is not limited to post-dispatch
- All new sellers for their first order.
- Sellers found to have marked items as dispatched before they are.
- Sellers with very poor cancellation, return and response scores.
- Sellers who have encouraged buyers to transact outside of Vinterior.
- All non-professional sellers.
These sellers will be paid 14 calendar days after marking an item as dispatched, with payments paid out on the next Friday. This means sellers on our slower payment plan will be paid 14-21 days after marking an item as dispatched.
Please note that once we have sent payments to Stripe, there may be a time lag before the funds are available to you in your Stripe account, which is outside of our control. You must have a Stripe Connect account so that you can receive payments within the time period outlined above.
