After confirming a sale, you might need to make changes to the price of an item.
Why?:
- Because there are multiple quantities on your listing.
- You found a delivery quote after confirming the sale.
- There was an error with your listing price.
- You want to give the buyer compensation (the item arrived damaged, or before dispatch, you find signs of wear that were not advertised).
Can you do this via Vinterior?
Yes, if you have not been paid for the order.
Charging an additional fee:
- Communicate with the buyer the reason for the additional amount.
- Receive the buyer's written approval.
- Email the Vinterior team at info@vinterior.co.
- Provide the order number and item title.
- State the amount and the reason for the charge.
- Vinterior will make the additional charge.
Partially refunding a buyer:
- Email the Vinterior team at info@vinterior.co.
- Provide the order number and item title.
- State the amount and the reason for the refund.
- Vinterior will refund the buyer the given amount.
- It takes 5-10 working days to appear on the buyer's statement.
What if I have been paid?
If you have been paid for an order, the order is now complete and the contract is finalised. For this reason, Vinterior advises that you get in touch with the buyer to arrange payment directly.
To get in touch with the buyer:
- Log in to your Vinterior account.
- Go to My Sales and click on the relevant order.
- Click Contact Buyer.
- Ask the buyer their best payment method - Paypal is the easiest option.
- When the buyer replies, it will leave a thread so you can come back to it for reference. You should also be notified via an automated Vinterior email when the buyer gets in touch.
