While Vinterior expect all of our sellers to keep their inventory up to date at all times, on the rare occasion, your item sells and it is no longer available and you need to cancel the sale. There are two ways to cancel an order on Vinterior:
1. Before the confirmation:
Via email or via your dashboard ⇒ Instead of confirming, click “No“ and provide a detailed explanation on why the item is not available.
This explanation will be emailed to the buyer, so please be kind and acknowledge the disappointment.
2. After the confirmation (more effort required)
If you must cancel the order after confirming the order, notify the Vinterior team at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. We can then issue a refund to the buyer.
Please note that you will be asked to provide a written explanation to the buyer regarding why the order has been cancelled after confirming it.
Be on top of it: Multiple cancellations will result in the review and potential suspension of your Vinterior account.
Answer fast: cancellations create frustration, the faster you answer the more buyer will understand.
Share nice and apologetic note: explanations are sent to the buyer, so please be kind and acknowledge the disappointment.
